This page has treats for dogs with sensitive stomachs, all with short ingredient lists. Most are single-ingredient: one product, one ingredient, the meat or the fish. We tell you what each one contains, so you can choose the right protein for your dog.
What sensitive stomach treats contain
These treats have a single ingredient:
- beef lung, with an airy texture that tears easily into small pieces;
- beef trachea, in crunchy 3-5 cm pieces;
- beef tripe (abomasum), a hard chew;
- lamb tripe;
- rabbit ears, with fur or without;
- dried Baltic sprat, whole fish.
We also have canned food with rabbit or lamb, and a digestive supplement with probiotics, bovine colostrum and inulin. The supplement contains lactose, milk proteins and fish, and the “Contains” line appears on every product page.
How to choose a sensitive stomach treat
Start with the protein. We have beef, lamb, rabbit and fish. Then pick the texture: lung tears easily, trachea is crunchy, and furry rabbit ears slow down the chewing. Trachea and beef tripe are for adult dogs.
Adapt the piece to your dog's size. If your dog has a health problem, ask your veterinarian. See also all treats, organs and dried snacks and toppers and mixers. In our article on how we read a treat label you can see how we check an ingredient list.
