Dogs with folds on the face or body (bulldogs, pugs, shar peis, boxers) have a concrete problem: moisture, dust and debris stay trapped in the skin folds. The area rubs, gets irritated and starts to smell. The balm goes straight into the folds: it soothes, nourishes and keeps the skin supple.
Apply it with your fingertips, straight into the hollow of the fold. The formula is based on plant oils and butters: avocado, coconut, shea, jojoba, hemp seed, plus candelilla wax, which binds the formula. It's gentle enough for the sensitive areas: the folds on the muzzle and the fold under the tail.
Use it when you notice the folds looking red, rough or damp, but also preventively, as a routine, if you know your dog's folds get irritated often. Consistency matters: apply often, one to three times a day.
