For dry, irritated skin

Dry skin is hard to see under the coat, but it shows: the dog scratches often, licks insistently at one spot, and the area turns reddish and rough. This balm goes on locally, exactly where the skin is dry or irritated, and works by moisturising. That's it, nothing more.

The texture is dense. It melts on contact with the skin and spreads easily. The plant oils in the composition nourish the area, and the lavender calms the itching.

When you use it: on dry or flaking skin, on reddish areas that appear after scratching, on rough skin at the elbows or on the belly, on mild irritations after walks through vegetation. You can also use it preventively, in winter or in dry-air spells, on the areas that usually dry out.

When it ISN'T the answer: if the skin is open, bleeding, weeping, smells bad, or the problem is spreading, go to the vet. It's a cosmetic care product, not a treatment. It doesn't replace a diagnosis.
